If you thought a fancy paint job was the end of our journey, well then you're crazy! What kind of Bunabago creators do you think we are?! If you haven't figured it out yet, when we go big, we go REALLY BIG! With the help of the Auto Trim Center in Gallipolis, the images capture what this whole prodject has been about.

From inward to outward beauty

In the last 3 years, the Bunabago has resided at the home of Matt, Heather, Nathaniel and Lindsey, when not in the woods playing host to the Abbott hunters. It can be seen from all areas of their property, a bright red box on wheels! Well one day during the month of August 2012, Matt decided enough was enough...that red HAD to go, so he started the prodject of turning drab to fab! Armed with sanders in hand and Nathaniel to help, the process of stripping paint began.

Now some paint...none other than Matt's favorite...Camo colors.

They painted everything......How sweet!

The last 3 years

It has been a long time since we last updated you about the Bunabago...3 years to be exact. The Bunabago has made it through the last 3 hunting seasons with the Abbott crew. It has lived up to it's expectations since it's concept. It has slept nearly 8 people at one given time, and it has withstood many different weather conditions and kept the hunters dry and warm, it is like a cabin on wheels. It's very first arrival to the Hunting grounds, it has since made many many more.

It has hosted it's very first dinner!

It has been present as some hunters have bagged there first Bucks ever (Congrats A) and other hunters have come home empty handed!

It has been kept warm by the warmth of a great camp fire!

And, It holds within it's walls, many hunting stories, lots of laughter and crazy jokes, and wonderful times spent together.

The End is Near

With time ticking away towards the start of Deer Season the Bunabago still needed a lot of work done, with nothing but small items to finish, Matt and Almeda got together to "Git R Done"! They finally installed all the cabinets and counter tops, finished the last of the trim, hung the curtain, adorned the walls with oil lamps,and broke out the grills. Stay tuned to see the completion of the bunabago as one final project is still in the works, aside from all the outside alterations that still need completed.

Where has the time gone!

Well to make a long story short, there has been a lot of work done on the bunabago. Work nights have come and gone, and the to do list has gotten smaller, as you can see for yourself.

Busy Bee's Continued

As Sunday dawned, the A Team woke, rested and ready to conquer the last step of finishing up the walls. After a hearty meal at mom's, the team returned to Matt's to GET-R-DONE! Part of the crew headed to the Do It Center, once again, to purchase the remaining supplies, while the remainder of the team stayed behind hatching plans to complete the job. By evenings end, the team was able to finish the majority of the walls, and discuss what needed to be done next, as a back wall needs to be built so that they can finish the panelling, and hang trim.
